Reading some of the negative reviews for this spot makes me wish Yelp brought back mocking face reactions.
* Hawaiian ice cream = great
* Service = totally fine
* Wait time was reasonable as the place smelled sweet. This isn't the morning commute.

Kona Ice Cream please! Conveniently located on the Hilton Waikiki resort, this is the perfect "pit stop" for a coffee or ice cream break after a long walk around Waikiki.
The kids love their free samples (the samples are pretty big in comparison to those tiny samples from Italian gelato shops, lol), and the adults love some scoops of Kona ice cream (or a milkshake)!
Service really depends on the person. Some seem annoyed or tired from a long day, and others are giddy to help you. Haven't tried their coffee yet, but the ice cream and shakes are good. It is nothing fancy like Smitten or Bi-Rite handmade ice cream from the Bay Area, but still good ice cream after a long day!

Yummiest Ice Cream! We were staying at the Hilton across the street, so the location couldn't be more convenient for us. Ambiance is cute and inviting Service was just okay, but the ice cream flavors were phenomenal. The Kona Lava Java is now my favorite flavor. It's their Kona coffee flavor with dark chocolate sorbet swirls.
I love that they have an option for sometimes indecisive people like me. It's a waffle bowl with half scoops of 5 different flavors for $11.
I would come here every day if my calorie budget could afford it!
